Rex was an Asian elephant held captive at the Oklahoma City Zoo in Oklahoma City, OK from 2011 until is death on January 14, 2025. He was born in the wild, captured from his familial herd when he was less than a year old, and held captive in zoos in circuses in the United States for over 56 years.
